Inspirasi Schools hosted STEM Week, a special event designed to ignite curiosity and creativity in students from Nursery to Primary. This engaging week offered hands-on experiences that encouraged critical thinking and skill development in a fun and interactive way. The goal was to foster a love for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) from an early age, making learning meaningful and enjoyable.

Children are natural explorers! Through problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork, they discovered that science and maths go beyond textbooks and exams—they are about asking questions, experimenting, and understanding how the world works in exciting and unexpected ways.

The week began on Monday with a class-based Maths Experiment, where students explored numbers creatively, building confidence in basic mathematical concepts. On Tuesday, they became little scientists during the Science Experiment, conducting simple yet fascinating experiments to introduce fundamental scientific principles.

Wednesday was a special day as students and parents joined a Healthy Exercise Session, followed by Wildlife Exploration in collaboration with Taman Safari Indonesia Prigen. This experience allowed students to observe and learn about various animals, fostering an appreciation for nature and conservation.

On Thursday, students tested their creativity in the Engineering Experiment, where they built structures and tackled simple engineering challenges through interactive play.

The grand finale on Friday featured the Science & Maths Play Area! Students witnessed mini volcanoes erupt, lava lamps glow, and experimented with water filtration and floating objects. Meanwhile, in the Maths Play Area, they brought numbers to life through an energetic Giant Snakes and Ladders game and Jumping to Numbers. Who knew maths could be this active and fun?

STEM Week at Inspirasi Schools was more than just play. It aimed to build confidence, nurture curiosity, and cultivate a love for learning. Seeing students’ excitement as they discovered new things highlighted the value of this experience. We look forward to doing it all again next year!
