On Friday, 6 March 2026, Inspirasi Schools held its meaningful annual program, Harmony in Faiths: Ramadan Edition – Season of Compassion. The event involved students, teachers, staff, and parents in a series of activities aimed at celebrating diversity while nurturing values of empathy, compassion, tolerance, and unity within the school community.
Harmony in Faiths is a program held twice a year, during the Season of Joy (Christmas celebration) and the Season of Compassion during Ramadan. The program aims to help students understand and appreciate differences in beliefs and cultures while fostering empathy and friendship among peers from diverse religious backgrounds. At Inspirasi Schools, students come from various faiths, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Christianity. Therefore, this program provides a valuable opportunity for students to learn how to live harmoniously in diversity from an early age.
The activities began in the afternoon and continued until the time for breaking the fast, followed by a communal iftar with the entire school community. During the event, students participated in religious learning sessions according to their respective beliefs. Through these sessions, students deepened their understanding of the values within their own faith while learning to respect the differences around them. This respectful learning atmosphere reflects the spirit of unity and tolerance that forms an essential part of the culture at Inspirasi Schools.
The program continued with a storytelling session by Safari Berkisah, where students listened to inspiring stories that emphasized kindness, compassion, and respect for others. Through these stories, students were encouraged to reflect on the importance of empathy, sharing, and living harmoniously in diversity.
As the time for iftar approached, the atmosphere grew warmer as students, parents, and teachers prepared takjil together and joined the communal breaking of the fast. The presence of parents created a strong sense of family within the school community. All participants enjoyed the moment of togetherness in a joyful and grateful atmosphere.
On the same occasion, the school also presented donations collected from students, teachers, and parents of Inspirasi Schools, which had been initiated since December through the Market Week activity. The donations amounted to Rp 8,570,000, along with various items such as wearable clothes, toiletries, children’s toys, and stationery. These donations were distributed through the Safari Bercerita program to support orphans and those in need, reflecting the spirit of compassion and generosity within the Inspirasi Schools community.
Through the Harmony in Faiths program, Inspirasi Schools continues to nurture a generation that values empathy, respects differences, and builds friendships across faiths. The program reminds us that diversity is not a barrier but a strength that enriches our shared lives. By instilling these values from an early age, Inspirasi Schools hopes its students will grow into individuals who are not only knowledgeable but also compassionate and open-hearted toward others.
