Global Excellence, Local Culture; Elevating Education while Embracing Traditions

Looking back at the latest OECD PISA results shows us that the Singapore education system consistently sits at the top of these global rankings. Created by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), PISA tests the skills and knowledge of 15-year-old students in mathematics, reading, and science. Students from Singapore schools not only aced these tests again but were also placed first in a study that tested their ability to generate creative ideas, as well as evaluate and improve them.

Unfortunately, Indonesia is experiencing a downward trend in these subjects that are so critical to developing economies. Many developing countries continue to struggle, particularly in emerging cities where teacher quality remains a significant issue. These challenges are even more pronounced in regions where educational resources and support are limited, highlighting the urgent need for effective educational reform.

Over the last 25 years, SIS Group of Schools have achieved massive success in taking the Singapore program and integrating it with the best from local education systems around the region, and in the process making our schools affordable. In Indonesia, India and Myanmar the SIS Group of Schools are making their mark and continue to expand in capital cities.

Inspirasi Schools aim to mirror the success of SIS but in 2nd tier cities.

Our mission is to empower students in these regions with world-class education, enabling them to compete globally and achieve their fullest potential. By adopting Singapore’s proven methodologies, we aim to enhance critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students, preparing them for the challenges of the 21st century.

We believe that every child, regardless of their geographical location or socioeconomic background, deserves access to high-quality education. Our approach involves training local teachers, implementing advanced curriculum frameworks, and leveraging technology to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Importantly, we strive to integrate and respect local cultures and traditions, ensuring that education remains relevant and meaningful.

Through this initiative, we aspire to bridge the educational gap, foster innovation, and contribute to the overall development of communities.
